Join us in the gateway to the Smoky Mountains for some seek and thrills.
The Smoky Mountains are thriving with breathtaking scenery. In my opinion, some of the best views you can see. I am sure most folks that have made a trip to the Smoky Mountains National Park would be in agreement. Travel the most popular loop in the Smoky Mountains, Cades Cove Loop, and witness some of these views for yourself. Rolling hills, hiking trails, old homesteads, wildlife and waterfalls line this 11 mile loop. If you are into capturing photographs this is one place you don’t want to miss out on. Newfound Gap, Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail and the Blue Ridge Parkway are also some “not to miss” scenic drives. Be sure to take a pull off and enjoy the views out in the open air. It will do your heart some good.
Along with the many attractions and mountain excursions there are also a lot of special events going on in the springtime here in the Smokies. Dolly Parton will be in town for her annual homecoming parade and Dollywood kicks off their Festival of Nations at the amusement park during the Spring Time. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet our hometown girl! If you are a car fanatic you won’t want to miss the annual Spring Grand Rod Run. Folks line the Parkway in anticipation of seeing their favorite locomotives. A few other enjoyable events are the Bloomin BBQ and Bluegrass Festival, the Wine, Dine and Art Crawl, Smoky Mountain Wine Fest, Arts and Crafts Show and the Beans and Cornbread Festival.
